TEACHING & TRAINING

In addition to my clinical practice, I conduct professional training, consultation and supervision to individuals and groups, both in person and "virtually." I have  designed and facilitated specialized courses, workshops, and presentations on topics ranging from basic trauma concepts, neuroscience, somatic therapies, art therapy and many other topics. My passion for creative therapies and the potential they offer for post-traumatic healing and growth is evident in my dynamic, engaging and hands-on workshops. I have developed and facilitated a wide variety of workshops, which are offered both nationally and internationally.

ART THERAPY INTERNATIONAL

I have significant experience in leading workshops, courses, and trainings for mental health professionals as well as graduate students and paraprofessionals in multicultural contexts.

I have designed and facilitated international training programs in South Africa (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Winterveldt, and Bokamoso), Kenya (Nairobi, Naivasha, and Nakuru), Tanzania (Bagamoyo), Ukraine (Kyiv and Lviv), Democratic Republic of Congo (Bukavu), and Croatia (Osijek), Nigeria (Ajuba), and Kathmandu, Nepal.
